Arrive in Urumqi

Activities: pick you up from Urumqi airport and transfer to the Hotel which is about 40 minutes driving from airport.
Our professional guide and experienced driver welcome you at Urumqi airport with your name and accompany you to your hotel. Our guide let you know the itinerary of your tour and general information about Urumqi before arriving Hotel

Urumqi to Fuyun county of Altay

Activities: drive through Kurban Tongut desert, Visit Wucaicheng on the way. Arrive in Koktokay town in the late afternoon and stay overnight
Stay in Fuyun
Details: After breakfast, you’ll meet your tour guide and driver in your hotel lobby to begin driving to Fuyun County through Kurbantongut desert and, en-route, to enjoy the vast desert steppes of the China’s second largest.
After 3 hours of driving we’ll stop at Wucaicheng also known as Wucaiwan, the multi-colored bay. The bay presents the visitor with an artist’s composition of reds, yellows, greens, grays, blacks and whites. The multi-colored Bay was one of the main locations for the Oscar Winning Best Foreign language film “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon”.
We’ll stop here for about an hour then continue driving through “Karamay Wild Animals Protection Area.” On a good day, you’ll hopefully see some of the many wild horses, camels or deer during our crossing. We can stop to take photos at any time you want..

Fuyun/Koktuokai to Burjin county

Today activities: visit Koktokay National park and then drive to Burjin county , visit rainbow beach
Stay in: Burjin county
Details: After breakfast, drive to Koktokay National park which is well-known high rock stone mountain peaks with different shapes and surrounded by forests and Irtish River. During the tour visit Irtish River valley, Shenzhong Mountain which means “holly Bell Mountain” , it is named like this as the shape of this mountain looks like a bell , you also visit camel peak and Elephant Peak mountains , shape of these peaks similar to these animals.
After lunch drive to Burjin county which is about 4-5 hours
Once arrive in Burjin visit Wucaitan which means “multi-colored beach; Rainbow beach and five colored Hills” as it is formed with many different colors and located on the North Side of Irtysh River while South Side is South Bank is luxuriantly trees, rolling forest, the distant meandering hills and panoramic view of the desert scenery.

Burjin to Hemu Village

Today activities: Drive to Hemu village and visit Tuva local family and discover their local culture and life.
Stay in Hemu village Wooden house hotel
Details: After breakfast Dive to Hemu village , on the way drive through some beautiful grasslands and zigzag mountain roads line up pine trees.
Arrive in Hemu village by lunch time and relax o n the rest of the day. Hiking around the village and grassland.
we arrange local family visit of Tuva people and let you have chance to understand their life and culture .

Hemu village to Kanas lake

Activities: Drive to Kanas lake and spend whole day around lake for trekking, Hiking, boating, rafting.
After Breakfast get on the shuttle bus to our car and drive to jiadengyu which is the entrance of Kanas Lake, then take shuttle bus to inside of the lake and spend whole day around lake.

1. Get up you watch tower to see whole view of Kanas lake and surrounding area which takes around 1.5-2 hours

2. Hiking around lake and along the Kanas River for a few hours

3. Boating for about half an hour

4. Take shuttle bus to Jiadengyu and stop on good spots like Moon Bay, wolongwan ( Lying Dragon Bay) and Duck lake.

Stay overnight at Jiadengyu.

Jiadengyu to Karamay city

Activities: Whole day driving to Karamay city and visit Ghost City on the way
After having your breakfast at your hotel, drive to Karamay City, about470km from Jiadengyu. Your reward for today’s long drive will come in a glorious sunset at Ghost City where you’ll also have an opportunity to stretch your legs and take a hike back in time. Shortly after, we’ll reach Karamay

and the relaxation of your hotel where you can freshen up for dinner.

Karamay City to Sayram Lake

Activities: Drive to sayram lake which takes about 4-5 hours and spend whole afternoon around surrounding
Drive to Sayram Lake after breakfast. Lunch will be At Jinghe county of Borlata prefecture. Arrive in Sayram Lake in the afternoon and rest of the day is your time to relax.

Sayram Lake and its surrounding area is a great place for hiking or horse riding. Your stay at the Sayram Lake is your own time to explore the hills on horseback, take photos or simply trek around the lake for the afternoon.

Sayram Lake to (Ghulja )Yinning

Activities: Hiking around Sayram lake in the morning and drive to Yining after lunch, visit Guozigou (Fruit Valley on the way)
We leave for Yining after breakfast and drive through some small Kazak Nomadic villages to enjoy the fantastic scenery of Guozhaigou (Fruit Valley) with its many pastures and pine trees along the way.

Arrive in Yining around noon and visit Grand Mosque and bazaars in the afternoon.

Yining to Bayinbulak Grasslands

Activities: Drive through Narat Grassland , visit Kanzak amnd Mongol Nomadic people, have tea in their yurt , visit Swan lake and nine streams with Eighteen Angles at Sunset.
Leave from Yining after breakfast, drive through some villages, grasslands and farming lands, arrive in Narat Grassland at about noon and aat lunch here which locals from Xinjiang express the beauty of Xinjiang with Narat Pastry as it is one of the most beautiful parts of our region.

After lunch keep driving along the Narat River line up pine trees to Bayinbulak Grassland which is the second largest in China. Visit Swan Lake and Nine streams with eighteen Angles at sunset.

Bayinbulak Grasslands to Kuqa/Urumqi

Activities: Drive through Tushuk Tagh (the mountain with Tunnel) and visit big dragon lake, small dragon lake and Tianshan mystery Grand Canyon
Set out for Kucha after breakfast and drive through Tushuk Tagh which is another adventure driving day for you. first we drive up to the top of the mountain a long zigzag road which provides better opportunities for taking photos of the mountain scenery from different location during driving. we arrive at the big dragon lake and stop here for lunch and hiking around. This is a village with some nomadic people and surrounding area is really beautiful with grassland, the dragon lake, pine tress, sheep, cows, horse , goats and snow capped mountains. Then keep driving till small dragon lake which is not very far away from big dragon lake, it is sparkling like a gem. Before arriving Kucha , you’ll be rewarded with a glorious Grand Canyon and take the opportunity to stretch your legs with a walk around this dramatic, mysterious formationof the mountain which is located about 70km from Kucha city and very attractive with not only by color but also the strange shapes of the mountains. Kucha Grand Canyon was voted by the Chinese National Geography magazine (2005) as one of the ten most beautiful Canyons in China.
