If there was ever a place that showcased the earth’s true rugged beauty, few could argue that the Pamir plateau wasn’t one of them. Trekking through Indomitable valleys, over stark passes and the arid open landscape of the Pamirs is a touching journey of humbleness that leaves a lasting impression on the soul.

Day 1, Kashgar to Karakul Lake

Drive along the China – Pakistan Karakorum highway which is one of the most beautiful highways in the world. Arive in Karakul lake after about 4 hours and spend whole afternoon around the lake

Stay in Local yurt

Day 2, Start trekking

Start trekking from Karakul Lake and reach Tokkuz Bulak Kyrgyz village after about 4-5 hours. Stay in Kyrgyz House.

Day 3, Keep trekking

Start trekking from Tokkuz Bulak in the morning and reach Koksal after about 6-7 hours. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of notorious Muztagh Ata (7546m) and Kongur (7719m) mountains. ‘Muztagh Ata’ means Father of the Ice Mountain and is one the most beautiful and mysterious mountains in the world. Today we camp overnight on small grassland near a Kyrgyz cemetery.

Day 4, Keep trekking

After breakfast we start trekking. Most of the places we trek today are small grasslands and stony roads, we will also cross Koksal River today. We will arrive Turbulung after about 7-8 ours. In the evening camp overnight in the tent.

Day 5, Keep trekking

Start trekking from Turbulung and reach Yanbulak after about 6-7 hours trekking. Today is the most difficult part of our trekking tour. Camp near the river overnight.

Day 6, Keep trekking

Start trekking after breakfast. Along the way we will pass very beautiful snow covered mountains and enjoy the spectacular scenery of Yanbulak Lake. After a long 6-7 hours trekking we reach a Tajik village named Chichaklik and camp overnight in this village.

Day 7, Experience local life

Chichaklik village is a great place for experience and learn mountain life of Tajik people and their unique culture. So we spend another day here. 　

Day 8, Keep trekking

We hardly leave from this beautiful village and friendly Tajik people and keep trekking to Langer. Camp overnight near the river.

Day 9, Keep trekking

Today we trek from Langer to Xindi which takes about 5 hours. Along the way we enjoy the beautiful grasslands and the jagged scenery of snow capped mountains which are providing a great backdrop to the matchless life of the highlands. Camp overnight.

Day 10, End of trekking and drive back Kashgar

Today is the last day of our exciting trekking tour. Our driver will meet you at Xindi and transfer to Kashagr. Stay in Qinibagh Hote.
