Today's activities: visit Jiayuguan Fort, Great Wall museum, Over-hanging Cliff Great Wall, first beacon tower under heaven and Weijin Ancient Tomb

Details: After breakfast we will visit the Jiayuguan Fort that’s the greatest and best preserved fort along all of the Great walls in China .It is the very beginning of the 10 thousands Li Great Wall of the Ming dynasty and was begun to be built in 1372 and 80% of construction is still original after staying here for about 2.5 hours including Great Wall Museum we drive to Overhanging Cliff Great Wall which was built on the steep cliff of the Black Mountain in the north of the Jiayuguan Fort ,Since the shape of it is much like the Badaling Great Wall in Beijing it is also well known as the Western Badaling Great Wall .you can climb up according to your own body conditions. then we drive to first beacon tower under heaven which is is located on the cliff at a height of about 80 meters by the Talai River. After hundreds of years of erosion and weathering, the tower itself has been badly damaged, but the main structure still stands there firmly.finally we visit Wei and Jin Ancient Tomb ,The murals bricks discovered from it have unique art style, simple line , rich content ,It is also well-known as the biggest underground art gallery in the world.

Details: After breakfast driving to Dunhuang which is about 6 hours driving distance. We visit Yulin grottos which also called the ‘Ten-Thousand-Buddha Gorge,’ are situated in a valley along the Yulin River. The Grottoes are an integral part of the Dunhuang Grottoes, which also include the Mogao Grottoes, the West Thousand-Buddha Grottoes and the East Thousand Buddha Grottoes.
