One day cultural tour
in Kashgar City
It
is a great chance for you to study Uyghur culture. We start our tour
from visiting Apak Hoja Mausoleum Which is a magnificent blend of
Islamic architecture and history. Established in 1640. This is the
resting place of five generations of his family.
After staying
here for about 1.5 hours we drive to Id Kah mosque which is
the largest mosque in China built in 1442. Then another best place
we want to show you is a long cultural street with many
handcraft experts which give you a great opportunity to understand
how to make Baby cradle, traditional musical instruments,
traditional knives, teapots, golden jewelers, wooden steamers and
many others traditional tools of local people. Then we will go for
lunch in Altun Orda restaurant which is considered the best
restaurant in the town.
In the afternoon
our tour will be much more interesting and special.
We will have a
walking tour in the old town area which has a history of more
than 2000years. It is a life cultural museum of Uighur people and
one of the most interesting site seeing spots in Kashgar. We also
recommend you to visit Kashgar Silk Road Museum which is
